Originally Planned for Afghanistan, (before we threw 40 million” brothers & sisters under the bus 2021) as a PD TGR-BGR” Passive Detection Theatre or Battlefield Ground Radar: In the book “Always Faithful” Capt William Putney USMC & DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) ; outlines in detail a real menu in what you want in a “War Dog” the basis of our evolving PD TGR-BGR program

During the war in the Pacific the Dogos picked people up, up out to about 750 yards, longer story (lots of Dobermans on Guam helped by the American Doberman Club with vetted family dogs form all over America).  In our Afghan case we hand not planed for bite work dogs as we would have had other dogs for that, just heads up in time passive detection so we could “get out of Dodge” in time or prepare to fight to the death if we had to (last very bad option!!) as a program manager -Gen Allen & Col Jordan (longer story).

Bite work also changes the dog’s personality and it would have been up to us to “deliver a World of hurt when cornered and no way out. Our “ordnance pet” would have been the (ordnance type redacted) one of our primary defensive weapons. That is the one we wish Amara Botan of the Syrian Kurdish SDF/YPG/YPJ had in April 2015 had when she her “sister” were KIA (Slaughtered) by a ISIS VIED. We are naming the ordnance & order of battle after her and plan to add another page to our website that must be updated K-9 P.D. Program, Inshalla !

In Harris Done’s “War Dogs of the Pacific” During WW II on Guam a US Marine Corps dog handler said “The Japanese could hide from us, however they could not hide from the dogs” . In one case the Imperial Japanese shot a “Georgia Boy’s” Black Lab right through the heart”. He stayed with her until her heart stopped beating then he went crazy: bailed out of his foxhole and killed 8 Imperial Japanese.  In that slow Georgia accent he said “They shouldn’t a killed ma dog”. In one case Capt Putney’s people also captured one Japanese dog not unlike this writer’s Child pictured’; nursed it back to health (gave the Japanese Dogo a ESL course :o) – English as a second language!) And then it started working for the Marines under Capt Putney. In our few words of German, they are “Meine Teufelshund, Meine Kameraden, Meine Kinder” – My devil dog, my Komrade, my Child” Aren’t they all?

For our evolving program, we need good handlers Men or Women, any faith as” we don’t care what on your head, we care what is in your head” (Ontario Government previously)

ps.

Did you know that by 2024 in Afghanistan was illegal to hear the sound of a women’s voice in public? /!

A simple. yet remarkable quote from a very unlikely person that you and I have profound issues with otherwise:

“Women make up one half of society. Our society will remain backward and in chains unless its women are liberated, enlightened and educated.”

― Saddam Hussein, The Revolution and Woman in Iraq

We all grow up, starting as puppies but who we become is effected not only by attitude but environment and the people around us as we travel though life’s ups and downs
